Past continuous tens; فعل ماضی جاری

Identification:پہچان؛جب اردو فقروں کے آخر میں رہا تھا ،رہی تھی،رہے تھے آجائے تہ فعل ماضی جاری زما نہ کہلاتا ہے۔

Verb; 1^st of the verb with ing

H.V:was.were

Formula; subject+H.v+1^st v with ing+object+.

                 Simple Sentences

   سادہ جملے                                                            

For example;

English	Urdu
We were attacking them.
She was arranging the things.
I was aspersing them.	میں اْنھیں ذلیل کر رہا تھا۔
He was assuming of his.	وہ اْس کا ذمہ لے رہا تھا۔
We were astounding them.	ہم اْنھیں حیران کر رہے تھے۔
Ali was attaining his promise.

                        Negative sentences منفی جملے

Formula; sub+H.V+not+1^st with ing +object+.

For examples;

He was not attaining his promise.
They were not assailing on us.
She was not auctioning her goods.	وہ اپنا سامان نیلام نہیں کر رہی تھی۔
He was not basing of house.
A child was not bedaubing his clothes.	بچہ اپنے کپڑے خراب نہیں کر رہا تھا۔
He was not batfowling.	وہ رات کو پرندوں کا شکار نہیں کر رہا تھا۔
